The first advisory board is focused on primary and secondary education throughout Wayne, Cayuga, Onondaga, and Oswego Counties. The second is focused on higher education and includes representatives from every higher education facility in the district.

John Katko (NY-24) today announced that Le Moyne College has been awarded a $1,190,512 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to recruit, enroll, and prepare 18 undergraduate students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields to obtain New York State teaching certification. Representative Katko supported the application submitted by Le Moyne College for this federal funding.
