Syracuse, New York – Today, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released its Northern Border Threat Assessment.  The issuance of this report was the direct result of legislation introduced by U.S. Rep. John Katko (NY-24) that was signed into law last year, the Northern Border Security Review Act.  Katko’s measure required the Department of Homeland Security to conduct a much-needed analysis of current and potential threats along our nation’s northern border.
