KATKO STATEMENT ON ATTACK IN BERLIN, ASSASSINATION OF RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR TO TURKEY

SYRACUSE, NEW YORK – U.S. Rep. John Katko (NY-24) today released the following statement regarding yesterday’s attack in Berlin and assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey:
 
“My thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by both the Christmas market attack in Berlin and the assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey.  While details are still emerging on both of these tragic incidents, each is a horrific reminder that we must remain ever vigilant against acts of violence and terrorism.  I will continue my work on Homeland Security this next term to fight against these barbarous acts of terrorism.”
